Read the passage carefully. Then choose the correct answer.

The exhibition hall had rows and rows of booths from institutions of various countries. This was the annual education fair. It was an event that showcased international universities from all over the world, universities hoping to seek out potential students. It was also an opportunity for students to find out more about the schools they might want to enrol in.

Nora was at the fair with her best friend, Julie. They had just received their A-Level results and were deciding which university to further their studies in. Nora's strength was in English language. She was considering studying law. She had always enjoyed watching courtroom scenes from television shows. It fascinated her to observe how the lawyers used merely words to convince a jury that a person was guilty of a crime.

On the other hand, Julie was good in her Science subjects. She was interested in studying medicine and becoming a doctor or a researcher. This was because a few years back, Julie's aunt had contracted cancer and she witnessed how her aunt struggled with the disease. Julie would like to help people like her aunt. she was also considering becoming a paediatrician. She loved young children. Children who were young were not able to vocalize their discomfort or pain when sick. Julie wanted to be able to make them feel better and be happy again.

As Nora and Julie went from booth to booth, they collected pamphlets and brochures from schools that they were interested in. At some of the booths, they even managed to speak to the academic counselors there. They asked all sorts of questions and received lots of valuable advice from them. The two of them ended up spending almost four hours at the fair.

Once satisfied that they had all the information they needed, the two of them went to a nearby coffeehouse, laden with pamphlets and brochures. They were going to sit down and go through the literature again and digest the information in detail. They would discuss a particular school and weigh out the pros and cons of the school. They also had to consider if the academic curriculum offered was suitable or not. It seems like the two of them still had a lot way to go before reaching a decision.
