My father is normally an even-tempered person.
It takes a lot to get him really angry.
Unfortunately, I did something that made him
real mad recently. It happened innocently
though. I was free one Saturday afternoon. My
father was always complaining he had no time to
arrange his collection of baseball cards. Not
only were they expensive, they were of all his
favorite players and had their autographs on
them. So I thought I'd surprise him. I took the
collection out and started sorting them out. He
wanted them arranged in chronological order, so
I did just that.
Halfway through, my throat became dry so I got
myself something to wet it. On my way back to
the pile of cards, I tripped over the rug and
fell flat on my face. I wasn't hurt but
something else got totally drenched. I stared in
horror at the mess I had made. My father came
home just at that moment. The shout he gave
could be heard a few kilometers away ! And I
couldn't sit down without hurting for a few days
