It is always so dark and lonely in this small box that sometimes I wish was
never made. I am an exercise book, made in China for students to use when they
want to copy their notes. My owner, Fei Hua, has little use of me now. Let me
tell you my story. After I was manufactured,
I was packed in a large box with hundreds of other exercise books. It was
cramped in that large box because the people at the factory had packed so many
of us into the same box ! None of us minded though, because we were eager to be
on our way to the book store. There, we were stacked up in piles, ready to be
sold. Three days later, i was bought by the most loveable-looking girl. She had
long hair an big black eyes. She wrote her name, Fei Hua, on my cover that told
everyone else that I belonged to her. That made me extremely happy because it
meant that I was going to have a new home.
Fei Hua used me to write all her school notes. I felt useful to her. I could
tell that she was a conscientious student
and I was proud of her. I was also pleased that she had such neat handwriting,
which made me look neat on the inside.
However, the good days did not last. She soon finished writing on the last of
my pages. Now Fei Hua has put me in this dark box. I hardly see her anymore and
it makes me sad. I hope somedya she will pick me up again to read. |
