Sheila cycles to school every day. She is a careful cyclist who always
takes note of the traffic around her. Before
she starts cycling on the streets, she makes sure she balances well on her
bicycle. She rides her bicycle straight and makes sure her feet touches the
ground. She also learns about the traffic rules. Sheila puts her school bag
neatly in the basket in front of her bicycle. This way, she does not have to
hold anything while cycling to school. She keeps her hands on the handle bars at
all times so she can brake her bicycle with ease.
She also wears a special helmet to protect her head, in case she falls. When she
wants to make a left or right turn, she signals by putting out her hand. This
way, the cars that go by will know what she is going to do next. They will not
be confused.
To keep her bicycle in good shape, Sheila checks the tyres and brakes often
to make sure that they work. She also polishes her bicycle to keep its shine. |
