The Profound Teachings of Water |
|
Water comes in many forms in nature - rain, dew, river water, lake water... Some
are crystal clear, while others are muddy and turbid. Some flow gently, while
others rage and surge. Water provides us with endless inspiration and can purify
our souls.
Gazing at the river flowing eastward, one can feel the passage of time. The
ancients wrote many verses expressing their feelings about the fleeting nature
of time: "Have you not seen the waters of the Yellow River coming from heaven?"
"It rushes on, never to return, like this passing moment." "When young, we must
work hard, lest we regret it later in life." These verses contain the hopes of
our predecessors for future generations: cherish time and seize the day, for we
have unlimited potential.
Looking down at a stone pockmarked by raindrops, one can experience the saying
"Water wears away stone." This concept embodies the dialectical philosophy of
time: quantitative changes lead to qualitative changes. All things undergo
gradual accumulation before they finally transform. If a baby were to become an
old man overnight, it would be difficult to accept and hard to believe.
Therefore, anyone who wants to succeed must start with small steps and move
forward step by step, always remembering that "Water wears away stone."
Staring at the surging waves, one can feel the true power of water. The
turbulent seawater contains the magnificent power of nature and teaches us to
strive for success, overcoming obstacles and difficulties with unwavering
determination. Just as the waves hit the rocks on the shore without hesitation.
In short, water constantly inspires us, and only those who approach it with a
clear and open mind can truly feel its profound teachings. |
