The Beautiful Water-absorbing Stone Landscape in My
Bedroom |
|
Perhaps you wouldn't believe it, but there is a beautiful "mountain" in my
bedroom. The mountain is lush with greenery and rugged terrain, and there is a
babbling stream at its foot. It is my family's water-absorbing stone landscape.
My dad bought this water-absorbing stone landscape during a business trip two
years ago. When viewed from the front, this "mountain" is quite poetic, covered
in green and moist moss. On the left side of the mountain, there is a hollow
hole with a green curtain hanging above it. It's not really a curtain but a lush
round-leafed small hanging plant called a string of pearls. The tiny leaves look
shiny, as if they have been coated in wax. It hangs at the entrance of the hole
like a water curtain, giving people a hazy feeling.
The most attractive feature is the lush green and gold-edged string of hearts
plant that grows at the base of the mountain. Each leaf is slender and has a
perfect flowing line, like water droplets splashing through the air in graceful
arcs. Each leaf is also very long, with the longest one reaching up to twenty
centimeters, hanging in the air, looking heavy but not breaking, seemingly
supported by an invisible force.
At the top of the mountain stands a pagoda, and there is a small pavilion not
far from the mountain's waist. It's easy to imagine that there is a family
living at the foot of the mountain, and you can almost smell the aroma of their
cooking. Looking down from the top of the mountain, you can sense a misty,
ethereal feeling, just like the sense of "a view of all the mountains" in
Chinese literature.
Clear water surrounds the foot of the mountain, and if you look closely, you
will find several small snails crawling quietly in the water, and some of them
have even climbed up the mountain. Because the mountain stone has a
water-absorbing function, the water at the foot of the mountain flows up the
mountain, nourishing the life on the mountain.
When I am tired of studying, I just look at this beautiful "mountain" and feel
its majestic spirit. It instantly fills me with energy. |
