Standing Up to Bullies

As the school bell rang for dismissal, Chris packed up his belongings and headed out of the classroom. He was on his way to his violin lesson, feeling excited about his new hobby. But as he walked towards the back gate of the school, he saw something that made his heart sink.

At the corner of the building, he saw Damian and Fred, the notorious bullies of the school, confronting someone. Chris realized with horror that it was his new classmate, Thomas, who was being bullied on his very first day of school. Chris knew he had to do something to help, but he also knew that confronting the bullies directly could be dangerous.

Instead, Chris decided to call for help. He shouted at the top of his lungs for someone to come and intervene. His sudden outburst startled the bullies, who turned to face him with anger in their eyes. But before they could do anything, Mr. Tan, the strict discipline master of the school, arrived on the scene.

Mr. Tan wasted no time in taking charge. He quickly assessed the situation and instructed the boys to follow him. Chris breathed a sigh of relief as he watched Damian and Fred being led away. He turned to Thomas, who thanked him for his help. Chris smiled and told him not to worry, and that they must not let the bullies get away with their wrongdoing.

Chris had shown great courage and quick thinking in standing up to the bullies. He had not resorted to violence, but had instead used his voice to call for help. He had also shown compassion and kindness towards Thomas, a new student who had been victimized by the bullies.

This incident serves as a reminder that we must always be vigilant and stand up against bullies, no matter how scary they may seem. We must also remember to be kind and supportive towards those who have been bullied, and to never let the bullies get away with their wrongdoings.
