Challenges Faced by Young People in Today's World |
|
Every person, at some point in their life, will encounter problems. However, I
believe that young people have more problems than adults, especially in today's
rapidly changing world.
Although adults have their own share of problems, such as financial difficulties
and health issues, young people's problems are harder to solve because they
often lack clear-cut solutions. One area that can trouble young people is the
search for identity. Teenagers are in a transitional stage between childhood and
adulthood, and some struggle to become more independent. Students who come from
overprotective families may have trouble adjusting to teenage life and still
expect things to be handed to them. On the other hand, some young people feel
pressure to act like adults by smoking and keeping late hours, which can lead
them to miss out on normal teenage activities.
Another issue faced by young people is the pressure to conform to conventional
ideas about looks and relationships. Some teenagers judge others based on their
appearance, which can make the less attractive individuals self-conscious and
unsure of themselves. Moreover, young people face pressure from popular media
that constantly features stories and songs about couples and romance, leading
them to believe that they should date. However, dating can interfere with their
studies, which is also a significant source of stress for many young people.
In conclusion, being young is wonderful as there are so many things to learn and
explore. However, young people face numerous challenges in today's world, such
as the search for identity, pressure to conform to societal norms, and academic
stress. Overcoming these problems is essential for young people to become
successful adults. |
