A Voice that Never Fades |
|
There is a voice that rings out when you're lonely, a voice that echoes when
you're sad, a voice that speaks when you're helpless, and a voice that
forever lingers in your mind.
I remember when I was a child, this special voice echoed in my ears, "Come,
my baby, come and eat!" It gave me a sense of security, a warm feeling.
In third grade, when I took the bus home alone for the first time, it was
this voice that encouraged me, "You can do it, you are the best!" Listening
to this voice, recalling the route I had memorized, I successfully made it
home, which surprised me.
This voice has never stopped in my memory, even when you had surgery on your
throat and endured the pain to encourage me.
During the National Day holiday when I visited Beijing, you called me every
night, and your voice was so warm; when I got good grades on my final exams,
your laughter was so bright, and your voice was so happy; when I asked you
for advice, your eyes sparkled, and your voice was so powerful.
When you went on stage to give a speech for me during the parent-teacher
conference, your voice was so passionate, conveying your joy to everyone,
all the time.
I remember when I finally came home with my exam results, filled with your
expectations, you lay in bed with a high fever. Although you only said two
sentences, the voice carried the satisfaction in your heart.
For 13 years, from childhood to adulthood, you have weathered the storms and
aged, but only on the outside. That voice remains unchanged, guiding my life
and navigating my journey. Mom! I will never forget your voice, which is
engraved in my heart and imprinted on my soul!
There is a voice that has become an unchanging melody in my heart! |
