A Season of Harvest and Colors |

Autumn is a season of harvest and maturity. The colors of autumn are soft and
gentle, and the countryside is full of warmth. Autumn rain is pure and
cleansing, while the sunset is poetic and inspiring.
The autumn wind is like a famous painter, using its magical brush to decorate
the earth. The hills, fields, and valleys are all adorned with golden hues and
shades of green. The landscape looks as if the earth has been dressed in a
beautiful floral garment.
In the golden fields, cotton flowers are as white as snow, heavy ears of grain
nod frequently, red sorghum grains are ripe like fire, and mature corn stands
tall with its abundant fruit. Women are picking cotton in the fields, their
faces beaming with sweet smiles, while farmers are happily reaping with their
sickles.
In the orchard, apple trees, hawthorn trees, and pear trees all bear bountiful
fruits. From a distance, the large apples look like small red lanterns, the
hawthorn berries resemble red agates, and the large juicy pears glisten in the
sunlight. The baskets filled with fruits on the ground look like small
mountains. It is a sight of abundance and harvest.
Although the autumn rain is not heavy, it is beautiful. The rain falls gently,
slanting and sparkling with light and sound. It is transparent like ethereal
crystal, shining like dazzling diamonds. It has the gentleness of light rain,
the tenacity of heavy rain, and the elegance of winter rain. The rain washes
everything clean, making the yellow poplar even yellower, and the chrysanthemum
even more colorful. People's hearts become more beautiful after being washed by
the rain. The sky washed by the rain is as blue as the sea, with clouds like
sailing boats, drifting slowly.
