Our Beautiful Neighborhood

In spring, the green grass and red flowers make everything beautiful, whether it's the small plants or the pond. As soon as you enter, you can see four tall pine trees. They have grown so strong that they look like a giant lying on the ground, fast asleep. The pond may be small, but its picturesque scenery is worth admiring. In front of the pond, there is a small artificial mountain surrounded by some grass. There are also small fish in the pond, dancing around — it's truly a beautiful sight!

In summer, the trees provide cool shade. When you play in the courtyard in the morning, you'll often find a few birds playing "chase" on the ground. But as soon as you try to catch them, they fly to the nearby trees. You can never catch them! In the evening, many people gather to enjoy the cool breeze, and you'll often hear someone say, "Ah, it's so refreshing!"

In autumn, countless yellow "butterflies" float down from the tree branches, turning the courtyard into a yellow world. Soon, there are a few apple trees in the courtyard, and they are now bearing their own offspring. Every time we pass by, we pluck an apple to take home and eat.

In winter, our courtyard turns into a castle of snow, a world of ice. The pond freezes over, and a few adorable children can be seen ice skating on it. Even in winter, there is still green grass in the pond, albeit covered by ice.

Once, a girl fell into the pond, and I and Cheng quickly pulled Kexin — the girl who fell in — out of the water. Not long after, a dog also fell into the pond, but its owner managed to rescue it.

I love the courtyard of my home. If you have time, you must come to my house.
