Learning to Show Compassion |
|
Care is the warmth between people, the pathway of love, and the light of human
kindness. Without care, there is no love, no warmth, and no light. The world is
beautiful and cozy because of care, and humans have emotions and charitable
hearts because of care.
We should show genuine care to strangers, family members, friends, and the
world. From this experience, I learned how to care.
The icy wind cruelly swept across the earth, and the world was enveloped in the
biting wind. I sat behind my mother's bicycle. As we passed a traffic light, my
left foot got stuck in the rear wheel of the bike. "Ah!" I cried out, and the
fresh blood dripped through my sock, staining the cement road. Passers-by
quickly noticed and shouted, "Stop, bleeding!" I was in so much pain. Cyclists
and motorcyclists stopped and helped to free my foot. Some hailed a taxi, while
others made way for the taxi carrying me. In the blink of an eye, a path was
cleared for me. Even though I was in tears from the pain, I felt the warmth of
care. The kind taxi driver not only refused to accept my fare but also helped me
to register at the hospital. My white socks were stained with blood, but care
had driven away my pain. I felt that care was the most beautiful thing,
containing infinite love and kindness that surpassed everything else.
From that moment, I learned how to care, and I learned the most valuable thing
in life. It gave me kindness, compassion, and true feelings. Care is like a
breeze in summer. |
