A Kind Act Saves a Life |
|
One afternoon, my friend Luke and I were playing basketball when we saw a girl
in trouble. She was crying and looking for a taxi to take her father, who had
suffered a heart attack, to the hospital. It was a busy road, and taxis were not
stopping for her. Without hesitation, I offered to help by calling my father to
come and take them to the hospital.
Luke and I then ran with the girl to her house, where we found the old man lying
on the floor. He was very weak, and we had to carry him to the car. My father
drove them to the hospital, and they arrived just in time for the doctors to
perform surgery on the old man.
The surgery was successful, and the girl, whose name was Janet, was very
grateful for our help. She thanked us and introduced herself, and we felt proud
of ourselves for making a difference in someone's life.
This experience taught us that showing kindness to someone in need can make a
big difference. We felt good about ourselves, knowing that our help had saved a
life. We learned that being kind and helpful to others is important, and it can
make the world a better place.
So let's always be ready to lend a helping hand when someone needs it, just like
we did for Janet and her father. We never know when we might be in a similar
situation, and kindness can go a long way in making a difference. |
