Many people find inspiration from something around them, be it
about life, love, or the essence of existence. So, I decided to search for such
an object as well, and it turned out to be a notebook.
The act of recording in a notebook is akin to living each day as a person does.
It allows us to meticulously and earnestly jot down our experiences. Every time
we flip through its pages, we gain confidence and delight from the words written
within. Just as each person approaches others with sincerity and earnestness
every day, reminiscing about those encounters fills us with contentment and
motivation.
A notebook has limited pages, unable to document every single event. Therefore,
we must choose to record meaningful and valuable things, ensuring that frivolous
matters do not clutter its essence. Similarly, in our lives, which are only so
long, we should not let inconsequential matters dominate our being. Engage in
meaningful pursuits to enrich our existence.
If you feel that what you've written is inadequate, you can tear the page and
start anew. However, when life commits an unforgivable mistake, it is not as
simple as tearing a page and moving on. Thus, before writing, we should ponder;
before acting, we should think thrice, and then proceed.
People who habitually tear away poorly written pages may eventually find a
significant void, a flaw that becomes increasingly difficult to conceal.
Attempting to hide a poorly written portion only leaves behind a more unsightly
blemish. It is better to earnestly begin writing from the next word, allowing
others to see your confidence in pursuing perfection. Life operates in a similar
way – the more you try to evade or pretend, the more it reveals the marks of
hardships endured. Instead, embrace it naturally, courageously accept it, and
strive to make a change to the best of your abilities. Regardless of the
outcome, this will enable others to witness your brilliance.
Even with a beautiful cover, a notebook cannot be deemed valuable solely based
on its appearance; it is the abundance of fruitful content within that matters.
Likewise, a person wearing the most exquisite clothes cannot convey the charm
and elegance that emanate from someone who appreciates and brings beauty into
the lives of others. Only by embodying politeness and refinement in our words
and actions can we truly honor the beauty we possess.
This is the inspiration I derived from a notebook. If a notebook can provide
such enlightenment, then what might everyday life bring to me?
