The Fortitude
of Life
Though the divine turtle lives long, it too has its end,
The soaring serpent in the mist,
to ashes it will descend.
The old stallion in the stable,
aims for thousand miles,
The veteran martyr in his final
years, his spirit never tires.
Expansion and contraction, it's not just in the skies,
Contentment and good fortune, can
bring eternal lives.
How fortunate it is to sing and
praise, with indomitable will,
The fortitude of life, that
triumphs over all, still. |
