Serene Night
On a serene night, a zither I play,
The western breeze, green
creepers sway,
Fireflies faintly glimmer in dewy
jade,
Early geese skim the river's
golden glade.
Tall trees shroud in morning haze,
Distant mountains bask in sun's
warm rays,
A leaf falls from a tree in the
south,
I feel it stir the Dongting's
mouth. |
