Reflections on a Clear Day
The water sparkles, the sun shines bright and clear,
The mountains stand, a scene of wondrous beauty to see,
One might compare the lake to a work of art so fair,
With light makeup or bold, both will enhance its
allure so free.
The skies may be filled with rain, or clear and open wide,
The beauty of the scene remains unbroken by the tide,
The lake and hills in perfect harmony do reside,
Their loveliness unchanging, with the changing of the tides.
So let us take a moment to reflect on this clear day,
And bask in the splendor of nature in full display,
This sight so fair, a joy beyond compare,
A treasure to hold, forever, with care. |
