Desert Snow
The desert snow, so fine and bright,
The full moon, a hook in sight.
When shall I, with jewels on
head,
Stride the autumn path, no longer
dread.
The sand dunes rise, like mountains grand,
Moonbeams cast, upon the desert
sand.
My mind aflame, with wanderlust
keen,
To roam free, the desert's
pristine sheen.
With golden threads, woven with care,
My hair adorned, without a care.
Onward I go, without a pause,
Through the autumn breeze, with
no cause.
Oh, how I long, to journey forth,
To the desert's embrace, my heart
set forth.
Where sand and sky, in harmony
meet,
And my soul, in freedom's song
will greet. |
