Moonlit
Encounter
Beneath the moon, the rabbit weeps,
The sky is dark, the clouds in
heaps.
The palace walls half-open wide,
With moonlight streaming from
outside.
The dew-drenched orbs of jade doth roll,
As phoenix
trinkets grace the stroll.
Beneath the fragrant osmanthus
tree,
A meeting of hearts that destiny
decree.
The yellow dust, the clear streams flow,
Mountains three, their beauty
aglow.
Ever-changing like a fleeting
steed,
A thousand years they roam with
speed.
Gazing afar at Jade state's haze,
Nine dots of smoke, a distant
craze.
A sea of water in a cup, pours,
A sight that one's imagination
soars. |
