A Mother's Unconditional Love |
|
A mother's love is like a sheltering umbrella, shielding from wind and rain. It
is like a cup of warm tea, driving away the cold. It is as vast as the boundless
sea, a guiding light in the darkness. It is a mountain range with its ups and
downs, offering support and strength. It is a leaf selflessly dedicated next to
a blooming flower. It is a book that can never be fully read, full of endless
wisdom and love.
I remember it happened several years ago when a bone in my hand was injured. My
mother, upon learning about it, became extremely worried and immediately took me
to the hospital. Beads of sweat, as big as beans, intermittently fell from her
forehead, but she didn't have time to wipe them away. She simply took me and
hurriedly walked towards the hospital. At that moment, I saw worry and anxiety
shimmering in my mother's eyes, reflected as teardrops.
Upon arriving at the hospital, my mother rushed around, panting heavily, to find
a doctor. The doctor glanced at me, then at my concerned mother, and promptly
attended to my injury. Suddenly, my hand started to ache, and upon seeing my
pain, my mother, with a pained expression, said, "It's okay, don't be afraid.
Mom is here." Instantly, I felt the depth of my mother's love for me. I really
wanted to throw myself into her arms, but every time I moved my hand, the pain
intensified. In order to prevent my mother from worrying further, I gritted my
teeth and allowed the doctor to examine and treat me. It was painful when the
doctor manipulated my hand, but for the sake of my mother's peace of mind, I
endured it. Once the procedure was done, I saw tears of joy sparkling in my
mother's eyes. I said, "Mom, my hand is better now, it doesn't hurt anymore.
Please don't cry, okay?" My mother nodded in response.
The tears in my mother's eyes concealed her deep affection for me. Those tears
soaked into my heart. Mom, I love you! From now on, I will study hard and never
disappoint your tears and hopes. |
