Secondly, the atmosphere of the
class is now different. My old teacher allowed us ( 1. talking /
to talk / talk ) if we had finished our work. The new teacher
does not allow ( 2. talking / to talk / talk ) at all. Our old
teacher let us ( 3. eating / eat / to eat ) our snacks in the
classroom during break time but now our new teacher has
forbidden ( 4. eating / to eat / eat ) in the classroom.
However, because he is so much stricter than our old teacher, I
think our new teacher requires us ( 5. working / to work / work
) much harder and makes us ( 6. preparing / to prepare / prepare
) our assignments more thoroughly. He often gets us ( 7. telling
/ tell / to tell ) the whole class how we prepared the work and
he also has us ( 8. discussing / to discuss / discuss ) problems
in small groups.
I think as we get used to him we will really appreciate his
strict approach to studies. The new atmosphere he has created
will permit us ( 9. develop / to develop / developing ) more
fully as students and help us ( 10. do / to do / doing ) well in
the coming examinations. |
