Embracing Civilization in Our Community |
|
The spring breeze of civilization has spread throughout the north and south
of the great rivers. As it gently brushes against my face and lifts my
clothing, I truly feel its fragrance. Where does this captivating scent come
from? Go and take a look at the community where I reside, and you will find
the answer.
Morning
When the sun timidly reveals half of its face, the community is already
bustling with activity. In the central park, elderly grandfathers and
grandmothers are dancing their "Bumper Harvest Yangko" dance. Women in their
forties are waving their red, wave-like fans. Young people are doing
rhythmic exercises. On the other side of the community, the noise is left
behind, replaced by endless elegance and tranquility. You can take a book
and gently wipe away the traces of history or embrace the nature you love.
Therefore, it is common to see teenagers in their late teens immersed in the
shade, just like the morning of the community. I believe their future will
be filled with vitality and vitality, just like the community in the
morning. Whether in the park or along the shady paths, you can witness this
warm scene. Although we are not related by blood, we feel like one big
family. No matter which small group you join, you will receive a warm
welcome and experience a refreshing and joyful atmosphere.
Afternoon
The cicadas on the trees begin their performance, with alternating high and
low sounds, but it does not make people feel bored. The little ones who have
studied all morning come bouncing back home. Young parents like to wait at
the stairs early, ready to warmly embrace their little ones. If you
accidentally slip and fall, it's okay, a passerby will definitely help you
up. Don't be surprised by my assurance because I have also fallen before,
and luckily, a helping hand that I had never seen before lifted me up. If
you come here, even on a hot afternoon, you will feel a pleasant coolness.
Dusk
The sun sets in the west, birds return wearily, and home is in the heart.
People who have worked all day walk with tired steps and immerse themselves
in a quiet world without disturbances or competition. Pressure and fatigue
dissolve in a cup of hot tea from loved ones and disappear under the dim
lights. After dinner, residents of the community enjoy playing badminton
vigorously, the elderly from various households each try their hand at their
"World Cup" on the chessboard, and those with a more artistic inclination
indulge themselves with their beloved erhu in the pavilion. I prefer to stay
at home and practice calligraphy. At this moment, the community is also
intoxicated, singing lullabies with the emerging stars.
I appreciate the little things happening around me and find them so
beautiful. Have you smelled the fragrance of civilization? It brings us
happiness and peace. In this pure land of the community, it has made the
trees green, flowers bloom, and uncovered the emotions hidden deep within
each person, resulting in the fruits of mutual care.
I love civilization, and I love the community that thrives in the gentle
breeze of civilization. |

The spring breeze of civilization sweeps across the north and south, leaving
its fragrant mark on the community where I reside. From the lively morning
activities in the central park, with elders dancing and people exercising,
to the serene and elegant atmosphere on the other side, where one can
embrace nature or indulge in cultural pursuits, the community offers a
harmonious and welcoming environment. Afternoons bring the cheerful return
of children, while evenings provide a peaceful retreat for tired individuals
to enjoy quality time with loved ones and engage in recreational activities.
Amidst these experiences, the essence of civilization permeates, fostering
happiness, unity, and a sense of belonging. The beauty and tranquility of
the community, nurtured by the winds of civilization, are truly cherished. |
