Separate : The theft was committed. The time of its commission was never found out.

Combined : The time when the theft was committed was never fount out.

     
1.   He may punish me. Yet will I trust in him.
2.   She persevered steadily. Success was the result.
3.   Murder has no tongue. Yet it will speak.
4.   All men must die and be forgotten. Why then do they seek for fame and riches ?
5.   A thief does his work very cautiously. He does not wish to be caught in the act.
6.   He has been very unfortunate. Yet he is always cheerful.
7.   He spoke rapidly. We could not clearly understand him.
8.   He made an excellent speech in defense of his friend. Everyone admired him in consequence. Everyone respected him.
9.   It is now late. Let us go to bed.
10.   He made his living by getting presents. He received these present from certain men. He had long served such men.
11.   I shall never clearly understand this. So I think.
12.   You have not signed your name to a letter. This shows your character. You lack moral courage.
13.   Men engage in some work. They wish to earn a living.
