Dear Sir I am writing to inform you of the kind of
service rendered by some of the employees of your company, the
United Bus Company.
Firstly, the drivers of some of the buses ___1___
do not stop the buses directly in front of the bus stops, as one
would expect, but twenty or thirty meters before ___2___
after them. This results ___3___
having the people run to catch the bus. I use the word "run"
because, after stopping for only about two minutes, the bus
starts ___4___ again. The
bus driver and conductor seem to be unaware that people who are
walking ___5___ the bus
might also be interested in boarding it. I know this for certain
because, having a heart ___6___,
I try to make it a practice not to run. As a result, your buses
have left me behind six times.
Secondly, your conductors seem to feel that they are in
charge of ___7___ the
public. Once, I was rudely told by a conductor, "You are a man.
Why don't you stand up for this lady ?" It was very
embarrassing.
As the manager, I am sure that you will wish the public to
have a good impression of the company. I hope you will take
steps to rectify this situation. |
