The lonely Singer
Amid smoke and mist, the moon casts its gleam,
Along the chilly waters of the Qin and Hua stream.A merchant's daughter
sings with little care,
Of her lost kingdom, so unaware.
Her voice still echoes over the river's shore,
As she sings of blooms in a garden no more. |
