Farewell to Spring

The cherry blossoms have faded away, so fast,
Leaving us with a sense of the past.

Alas, the morning rain and evening breeze,
Came too soon and brought us to our knees.

Rouged tears, we linger in a drunken daze,
Wondering when we'll meet again in better days.

Life's long grudges, like the never-ending river,
Flow eastward, forever and forever.

grudge   a strong feeling of anger and dislike for a person who you feel has treated you badly, especially one that lasts for a long time
