High up in a tree was a nest. Three little "mynah" birds were in it. Their feeble cries were carried away by the strong wind. A sudden gust of wind blew the nest down. The birds could not fly and fell a very long distance to the ground. They were slightly hurt and kept on chirping for their mother. Both Tori and Brenda were going home after school when they heard the cries. Immediately, they rushed to the spot and found the birds. Both of them felt sorry for the motherless birds and decided to keep them.
