"Bank of Dave" is a British underdog drama
about a Burnley businessman who sets up a high street bank to help the local
community during the financial crisis.
However, the film takes many liberties with the true story and includes
fictionalized elements, which distract from the main character's struggles.
Despite these distractions, the film's portrayal of a man who is
sensationally rich but has never lost touch with his humanity or roots captures
something charming. |
