In Luther: The Fallen Sun, a feature-length revival of a crime drama, a
detective deals with a tech genius who murders people in a unique way. The
killer's motivations revolve around the concept of shame and they blackmail
people into compliance using their secrets.
The movie features a neo-noir London and
a Soho that's far sleazier than in real life. The chief draw of the movie is the
main character, a rule-adverse detective, played by an actor who excels at
playing men who've lost everything.
The movie ends with a dramatic prison breakout and a trip to a mountain
locale. |
