Improving Rubbish Collection in Moonlight Garden |
|
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you as a representative of the Residents Association of
Moonlight Garden. We would like to express our appreciation for the regular
collection of rubbish in our housing estate. However, we are concerned about the
condition of the dumpster vehicles that collect the rubbish.
While we are pleased with the precise timing of the collection, we are disturbed
by the trickling seepage trail of watery fluid stench that the vehicles leave on
the roads. The smell of the watermarks lingers in the air and can last for days,
while the dirty smelly marks are etched onto the paved roads. Even after a heavy
downpour, the watermarks are still visible and give off an unbearable foul odor.
Therefore, we would like to suggest that the vehicles be fitted or installed
with sophisticated fluid retainers or water chutes to prevent fluid from seeping
out and leaving a trail on the roads. Additionally, we recommend that the
vehicles be washed and sterilized periodically, as is done in other cities.
We have advised residents to use more durable rubbish bags or double bags to
prevent spillage, and have even purchased SW rubbish bags. However, some
spillage still occurs during the collection process. We urge greater cooperation
from the collection workers to clean up any rubbish trails on the roads caused
by spillage.
We hope that you will take our concerns into consideration and take appropriate
action to improve the condition of the dumpster vehicles. It is essential to
have a healthy and clean environment for our community.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully, |
