A Day in the Life of a Misunderstood Teenager |
|
The door "puff" opened, and I pretended to be asleep on the bed. "Shh... don't
wake our baby," a voice that sounded like my mother said. "Let's be quiet and
not wake her up. It's only 12:00. " "12:00!?" I jumped out of bed and startled
them. "Uh... haha, good morning, Mom and Dad!" I tried to force a smile. "Oh,
oh, oh, haha, good morning," they regained their composure and said with a
smile. "Hey, you usually get up very late. Why are you up so early today?" They
asked me with suspicion. "Well... uh, oh, just wanted to try a different
lifestyle, haha... lifestyle!" I squeezed out a smile and said. "Oh, oh...
trying a different lifestyle is good... is good..." They also forced a smile and
replied. "Oh, do I not have to go to school today?" "Go to school?" "Yes, is
today a holiday?" "Baby, are you confused? Going to school is a thing of the
past. Nowadays, you learn at home on the computer! Did you forget?" "Oh, no, I
was confused, haha."
During lunchtime in the dining room, my parents urged me to eat more vegetables
and meat for nutrition. I didn't know what to say, so I just pretended to smile
and thanked them. "Come on, Mom and Dad, you also have to eat some meat and
vegetables. That way, you'll have a healthy body!" I served them some food and
said. They looked at each other for a while, and suddenly tears filled their
eyes. "Daughter, you've grown up!" "Haha..." Did their daughter never do this
before?
In the evening, at home, "Oh, I've been working all day, and I'm so tired."
"Dad" rubbed his back and said. "Dad, let me help you massage it!" He looked at
me suspiciously for a while, then smiled and nodded. I was massaging him
vigorously when suddenly a dazzling light shone, and I felt dizzy. |
