A Review of the Film "Warm Spring |
|
As the famous Chinese writer Ba Jin once said, "Love is like a light in life, it
can illuminate people's souls and add color to life; Love is like spring rain,
winter sun, nourishing the heart and melting the ice and snow." The theme of the
film "Warm Spring" is love, and throughout the film, a strong and affectionate
love flows like a spring breeze in the hearts of every person who watches.
In a stormy evening with lightning and thunder, the wind howls fiercely, and a
small girl named Xiao Hua is searching for her grandfather on a muddy mountain
road, holding a narrow plastic card. She shouts and cries, running as fast as
she can. Suddenly, a heavy rain starts pouring down, and her grandfather,
carrying a bundle of willow twigs on his back, stumbles along the way. Suddenly,
he trips and falls down the hill, unconscious. Xiao Hua sees her grandfather
lying there, and her grief is overwhelming. To support Xiao Hua's education, her
grandfather disregards his old age and weak body, climbing the mountain every
day to cut willow twigs and then weaving baskets. Due to his exhaustion, he
eventually faints. Watching this scene, tears well up in my eyes.
One of the most touching scenes in the film is when Xiao Hua hears her aunt say
that eating grasshoppers can help women conceive. She secretly brings a jar to
school every day and then goes to the nearby mountains after class to catch
grasshoppers. Eventually, she catches enough grasshoppers to fill a whole
mountain. When she puts the jars on the table, her aunt, uncle, and grandfather
all burst into tears. I couldn't help but cry while watching this scene. Xiao
Hua's heart is so broad! Despite her aunt's repeated hurtful behavior towards
her, she never complains. Her sincere and genuine love warms her aunt's heart
and melts her selfishness.
Let love fill the world! |
