A New Experience: Helping My Parents with Their Work |

During the summer vacation, I had nothing to do, so my parents asked me to help
them. I wanted to understand how difficult it is for my parents to do
waterproofing work on the roof, how hard it is for them to earn a living, and
how challenging it is to make money.
We were supposed to go today, but because my brother and I were not familiar
with the process and had no experience, my parents wanted us to go with them
tomorrow morning at 6 am. So we went to bed early tonight to prepare for
tomorrow's work.
I was a little nervous because I had nothing to do during the long vacation, and
I didn't know if I could do a good job. But I told myself that I would try my
best, and the result was not important.
I'm excited now! I don't know what will happen tomorrow. My parents' work is
hard, and I don't know if I can adapt to the environment. Maybe I will only do
some cleaning on the roof, which is not essential. Even if I want to do more, my
parents may not let me. I hope that I can be useful when I go there. The summer
vacation is almost over, and I have to find something to do, something that I
won't forget. I cannot waste this month without leaving any impression in my
memory.
