The Key to a Flourishing Life

I am a chrysanthemum blooming quietly in the corner, growing and blossoming my life in silence.

In the spring, my sisters in the flower kingdom all bloomed into beautiful flowers, but I only had a few lonely green leaves as companions. My sisters mocked me, calling me a useless flower who embarrassed the family. Even my closest sister, Peach Blossom, was indifferent towards me, saying, "Hey, Chrysanthemum, why are you so ugly? It's embarrassing to have you as my sister." I endured their mockery silently, encouraging myself in my heart: don't be afraid, you will surpass them.

In the summer, my sisters all lazily lay down and shrank, lacking the vitality they had in the spring. The scorching sun also made me soft and limp, and I wanted to lie down and sleep, but I resisted. I knew that once I fell asleep, I would not wake up again. So, I encouraged myself: hold on, you must hold on, and you will surpass them! I worked hard to suck the sweet nectar from the earth.

In the autumn, I finally began to bloom, with beautiful and delicate yellow flowers. Oh, how wonderful! Butterfly fairies flew to my side to collect my nectar. Amidst this happiness, I remembered my other sisters: where did they go? Why are they all gone? Mother Earth told me they all died, unable to endure the hot summer. You are a strong flower, and I am proud of you. All of this came from encouraging myself.

Encouragement gives life brilliance and confidence, making our lives more beautiful! Life is the same way. The more you encourage yourself, the more you will overcome others and achieve victory!
