A Symphony of Joy, Sorrow, and Learning

Joy

Campus is a big family full of love, with joy, sorrow, sadness, and happiness, like a cheerful concerto. One day, shortly after the start of the school year, the teacher asked me to write an essay to participate in a competition. I was hesitant, thinking that I had never won an award for my essays in elementary school, why would they ask me to participate? But then I thought, let's give it a try and submit it first! A few days later, the results came out, and the teacher announced that Chen won second prize in the essay competition, and I won third prize. As soon as the teacher finished speaking, my classmates started discussing it. I couldn't believe it. Many people participated in the competition, and Ma Xiaoxuan wrote an excellent essay. How could I win a prize? It must be a mistake by the teacher. But later, when I saw the list of winners announced, my name was really the last one. I was so excited that I wanted to shout, "I really won a prize! This is a big happy event!"

Sorrow

In recent exams, I often felt inferior. At first, I could score above 90 points in every subject, but these two exams, I fell off a cliff, and I don't know what happened. These days, I also learned classical Chinese, but I couldn't answer some of the questions on the test paper given by the teacher. My classical Chinese was not good in elementary school, and I wanted to learn it well after entering junior high school, striving to master classical Chinese. But now, I have to make up for it and "eat" classical Chinese thoroughly!

Learning and Joy

I think the word "joy" is also integrated into our daily learning. If you think carefully, there is always joy in learning. For example, competing with opponents is a kind of joy; collaborating and communicating with each other is a kind of joy, and the overall comparison of learning abilities between groups is even more joyful! In fact, this word "joy" has been hovering around you all the time!

Look at these things, how much they resemble a beautiful, cheerful harmony!
