Cherishing Life |
|
Often, we fail to appreciate what we have, only realizing its value when it's
gone. Many people have lamented over spilled water, wishing they could turn back
time and make better choices.
The sun, rain, birdsongs, and fragrant flowers are all equally given to
everyone. Joy and sorrow, happiness and worry, are all personal experiences.
Life is inherently beautiful; it's not that we have too many troubles, but
rather that we don't know how to live. It's not that we have too little
happiness, but rather that we don't know how to seize it. We don't necessarily
need to acquire a lot; a sincere smile, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a
compassionate word, or a single tear shed in solitude, are all extremely
valuable treasures to cherish. By embracing and valuing them, we open up a broad
path amidst love and hate, kindness and evil, beauty and ugliness, gain and
loss. A silent smile tells us to persist in our pursuit of the future; it won't
wither due to the storm's attack, nor will it fade away with the flow of water.
Spring comes and goes, flowers bloom and wither, but if we fail to cherish what
we have, we only realize its worth when it's gone, and it's too late to regret.
When life can no longer sing its tune, a wounded heart seeks refuge in a
sheltered harbor. In silent contemplation, like a wounded bird, it licks its
bleeding wounds on a branch.
Many times, happiness surrounds us, and we fail to recognize it. Perhaps only
when we chase happiness relentlessly and embrace it wholeheartedly will we
realize that happiness has been within reach all along, and it's been
surrounding us.
As time passes, every stage of life and every detail of existence is worth
cherishing. Let's applaud the ordinary world and do extraordinary things with
humility. Then, life will transcend itself.
By having life and cherishing it, life will flourish like a blossoming flower! |
