Memories of High School |
|
As my three years of high school come to a close, I reflect on how far I've
come. I remember arriving on campus under the blazing sun, surrounded by
unfamiliar faces and filled with curiosity. Now, every day is spent with
familiar classmates and a warm school environment that feels like home. Life is
a journey from being strangers to becoming close, from being unfamiliar to being
in sync, from ignorance to understanding, from meeting to saying goodbye.
In my time at high school, I gained new friends, worked with others on projects,
and consumed many ink pens. Now, as graduation approaches, I am filled with a
bittersweet feeling, knowing that this world cannot be stopped for too long.
I remember the freshness of arriving on campus and how curiosity always swirled
around us. The classmates in my class were always speculating about one thing or
another. From the rigid drills after military training to the pensive atmosphere
after midterm exams, and the cheers and excitement of winning the class flag, we
began to get to know each other.
I still remember the school's sports day, which caused a sensation throughout
the school. Although we didn't achieve a great ranking, our classmates' spirit
of cooperation was evident. We had only been together for a little over a year,
but our classmates participated in the race with determination and perseverance,
cheered loudly from the stands, and eagerly wrote reports to make up for our
shortcomings. Whether inside or outside the field, we worked together. When we
failed, we comforted each other, and when we succeeded, we praised each other.
As summer approaches, we can now read each other's facial expressions and body
language, but we must also face the reality of saying goodbye.
Reluctance to leave and anticipation for the future intertwine. |
