Waiting and Watching

I always like to turn the sealed past into wings for the youth to soar, to roll the tears of loneliness into an everlasting song of youth, and to condense the blue into poems of vigilance. And so, I wait...

Once, holding a warm cup of Longjing tea, I sat by the balcony and looked at the graduation photo full of emotions. I can't forget the beautiful and lovely campus, the classmates who were like brothers and sisters, and the hardworking gardeners. The teacher scoops water from the heavenly pool and sprinkles it on the earth to cultivate new seedlings. Whether I become a tall tree or a short shrub in the future, I will bless you with the green of life, my teacher.

And so, I watch and wait. Waiting to grow up quickly, watching my dream of becoming a teacher come true. Let my knowledge nourish the next generation bit by bit, and let them grow up healthy. Let me teach them the experiences of the journey, bit by bit, and guide them towards the bright road...

Once, I passed by a warm harbor, which showed me the love in the world, a selfless and dedicated love. A group of volunteers cleaned the rooms for the elderly in the nursing home, chatted with them, comforted and encouraged them. With their love, the elderly got infinite happiness. Because of their love, the cold winter added another torch. Because of their love, my soul was cleansed.

And so, I watch and wait. I wait to grow up quickly, watching my dream of becoming a volunteer come true. Let my love spread to all corners of the world, let every person in need see the bright future on the bumpy and winding road, and feel the warmth of the future.

On the podium, through the seasons, I pour my heart and soul.

In the garden, helping the weak, enduring the wind and rain, new shoots grow tall.

These strands of emotion, these drops of love, I watch and wait.
