Fly with the Wings of Hope |
|
Everyone has dreams, and those dreams carry our hopes. We all wish for a pair of
wings to take us soaring towards our aspirations.
Over the mountains and across the plains, we fly towards hope.
During the devastating earthquake in Wenchuan, China, Teacher Zhang Miya took
off her own wings and gave them to the children. With her life, she embodied the
phrase, "Take my wings and fly."
Don't linger beneath the trees, or ponder in the rain, or weep in the darkness.
Look ahead and don't look back. If you bravely face forward, you'll discover
that the dark clouds of scores are only temporary. Look ahead, and you'll see a
bright sky that will not make you feel lost.
Believe me, the wings of hope will never abandon you, but only if you don't
abandon your dreams.
When you feel the warm breeze on your face, hear the birds chirping, see the
green hills, and the beautiful fields of spring, you'll be enchanted. When you
face the golden autumn season, with its abundant fruits and sparkling beauty,
you'll be ecstatic. Have you ever thought that these vibrant spring colors were
the result of enduring the cold winter? Or that the golden autumn beauty was the
result of enduring the scorching summer?
So even if you lose your dreams, as long as you search with your wings, you'll
find them.
Wings are like a mountain camel, carrying the dreams of countless people. Hope
is always there. Remember the words, "If I miss the sun, I won't cry, otherwise,
I'll miss the moon and the stars."
I'm not an Oscar-winning actor, and I don't have a chance to add my name to that
long list of dreamers. I'm just an ordinary person, who can only fly with wings
in the sky.
Work hard, persevere, be strong, and let's learn to understand the meaning of
"Take my wings and fly." |
