A Reflection on the Cycle of Life |
|
As the chilly autumn wind drives away the summer sun, the lush green grass is
swayed to a withered yellow, and all things wither away, burying the sweet scent
of flowers. It is the season of falling leaves.
Two years ago, there was a fruit tree in the courtyard. It stood tall on a
golden carpet, with bare branches reaching up to the vast blue sky. The falling
leaves of the fruit tree painted a tragic atmosphere. At first, only one or two
leaves fell, like a few broken golden butterflies. In the morning and evening
autumn winds, the leaves began to move. Against the backdrop of the sky, the
falling leaves looked like graceful dancing maidens, elegant and charming...
Witnessing such a desolate scene, I walked heavily to the window, slowly pulled
the curtains, and suddenly saw a bunch of leaves that were about to fall, on the
verge of withering away. At that moment, time stood still, and I seemed to see
the radiance emanating from the leaves, behind which was the joy of farmers'
harvests. The leaves left the embrace of the tree and danced and twirled on the
stage of the sky, showcasing their elegance and charm. Like an old-fashioned
girl, but beautiful as a goddess, the leaves shone with a fiery light, and the
swirling arcs in the sky were the trajectory of life...
The fruit tree stood calmly, letting the sunset turn it into a withered yellow.
Unconsciously, I was immersed in solemn reflection...
The tree's fruit is certainly a fulfillment for the spring flowers, but the
tree's falling leaves are a termination for the spring fragrance. No season is
more capable of making people feel the brilliance and withering of life than
autumn.
"The fallen red leaves are not heartless, but will turn into spring mud to
protect the flowers." Old leaves sang a heroic song, blending into the spring
mud and turning into a dew of immortality for the fruit tree.
Standing by the window again, this year's spring leaves have now become old
leaves. Watching the deep autumn leaves hastily rush into the broad embrace of
the earth, I was deeply moved once again! |
