The Significance of the Red Scarf in My School Life |
|
As the scorching heat of September lingered, we entered a new learning
environment - junior high school. Excitement and anticipation inevitably filled
my heart as I stood in front of the school gate. My hand habitually touched my
neck, feeling as if something was missing.
Returning home, I opened the drawer and saw the bright red scarf lying there. As
I gently stroked it, memories flooded my mind. From the moment we first put on
the red scarf in first grade, it represented our acceptance of the significant
mission to "study hard for the rise of China." When the national flag was
raised, we stood beneath it and solemnly pledged in our innocent voices:
"I am a member of the Young Pioneers of China. Under the flag of the Party, I
pledge that: I am determined to follow the guidance of the Communist Party of
China, study hard, work hard, and serve the people. Preparing myself to:
contribute all my strength to the cause of communism!"
Every day, we wore the bright red scarf, and whenever it fluttered on our
chests, it inspired our determination to "study hard for the rise of China."
Now, as we remove our red scarves and enter junior high school, we become
teenagers with greater responsibilities. In junior high school, we should learn
to grow up and strictly demand ourselves to have "moral integrity, intellectual
development, physical fitness, and aesthetic appreciation." We must strive for
our ideals, no matter how difficult our lives may be. When we think of the
bright red scarf, we will always be driven forward by a force of power.
Sunshine shone through the bright windows, and the red scarf remained as vibrant
as ever... |
