To Become an Excellent Teacher |
|
Having an ideal makes life sweeter, and life itself more precious. An ideal is a
lifelong pursuit for everyone. With an ideal, life has direction, learning has
motivation, and life has value. It is for this reason that a more desirable
ideal has taken root in my little heart, guiding me towards constant progress
and effort in my studies and growth.
If someone were to ask me what my ideal is, I would answer without hesitation:
My ideal is to grow up and become an excellent teacher. Standing on a high
podium, I want to impart my profound knowledge to those lovely children,
allowing them to enjoy learning and cultivate the country's flowers into the
pillars of the nation.
When I was very young, I loved teachers very much. They had profound knowledge
and a unique aroma of books. They taught us the principles of being a good
person and enriched our knowledge. They sweated hard, watering the flowers of
the motherland like gardeners. They enlightened others, sacrificed themselves,
cultivated useful talents for society, and dedicated their lives to people
without expecting any return. Teachers showed us the magnificent scenery of
"falling straight down three thousand feet, suspected to be the Milky Way
falling into the sky." They gave us the motherly care of "sewing densely before
departure, fearing that the delay will make it difficult to see the old again."
They led us to experience the homesickness expressed in the poem "being a
stranger in a foreign land, thinking of my family even more during the
holidays." I greatly admire the spirit of teachers who silently dedicate
themselves without expecting anything in return.
Now, I want to study hard and cultivate some of the qualities of a teacher. When
I grow up, I want to become an excellent teacher. |
