A Happy Seed in the Embrace of Parents

As the saying goes, mother's love is like water, while father's love is like a mountain. The mountain embraces the water, and the water surrounds the mountain.

As for me, I am a happy seed growing up in the arms of my parents, enjoying the sunshine. My father's love is lofty and profound, and my mother's love is great and meticulous.

My dad is best described as a "strict father." He has strict requirements for my studies and daily life. He sets up a schedule for me and supervises me to complete my homework seriously. In addition, my father often lets me read some extracurricular books to help me understand scientific knowledge beyond textbooks. As a result, my playtime has been greatly reduced. Sometimes, other parents would ask me, "Does your dad have high expectations for you?" As a naive child, I would nod vigorously to show that he is "especially strict, not just ordinary strict!" Now, every time I face the good grades of first and second place in the class after each exam, I gradually understand that my dad did all this for my own good. I am truly grateful to him!

My mom is a typical "kind mother." She is very concerned about what I eat and wear, and she takes care of me meticulously. To make sure that I eat well, she tries her best to make some delicious food to satisfy my cravings. On weekends, she doesn't rest and starts to wash my dirty clothes. The next morning, she puts the clean clothes next to my bed. Especially when I am sick, my mom will fetch water, give me medicine, and get up in the middle of the night to check if my blanket is properly covered...

Ah! To my parents who gave birth to me and raised me, thank you for using your kind hands to hold up a blue sky for me. I will use my filial piety to comfort you. To my parents who gave birth to me and raised me, I will use my excellent grades to fulfill your unfulfilled dreams. I want to sincerely say to you again, "I love you, dad and mom."
