From Busy Bee to Lazy Cat

Before entering middle school, I thought of myself as a hardworking bee, or at least an honest dog. But as I progressed through middle school, my true nature as a cat began to emerge. I realized that I was a lazy and cunning cat all along!

During elementary school, I would diligently listen in class and meticulously take notes. My notebook pages were filled with arithmetic problems, and I eagerly awaited the start and end of each school day. The sky was pure and beautiful, and I lived each day with joy and happiness. Life was fulfilling and somewhat busy, so I felt like a busy bee, buzzing around the world of learning.

Upon entering middle school, the weight of academic tasks overwhelmed me. Papers, newspapers, and workbooks flooded in like a tidal wave. I was drowning in a sea of homework. I had intended to maintain my image as a diligent and obedient bee, but the pressure of homework caused me to surrender. And to my surprise, I transformed into a cat, a lazy cat! In front of my owner, I would run around catching mice with diligence and precision. But behind my owner's back, I would curl up by the fireplace for a nap or lazily bask in the warm afternoon sun. In the eyes of others, I was still obedient and well-behaved, and no one noticed that I had gradually turned into a cat. I felt proud that I could be as cunning as a fox, but also a little bit lost.

I don't know why, but once I discovered that I had become a cat, I could never turn back into a bee.

I am a cat, a lazy and cunning cat. I don't know what I will become in the future, but for now, I am a cat.
