Preparing for the National Day |
|
As the National Day holiday approached, our teacher asked us to create a
handwritten report and choose some excellent pieces to exhibit on the wall.
I was delighted to hear this because making handwritten reports is my
specialty.
On the day of the holiday, I prepared a sheet of A4 paper, colored pens,
pencils, erasers, and a ruler. I started by writing "National Day" in the
top right corner of the white paper. To make it look more beautiful, I added
some flower curtains, lanterns, and Tiananmen Square beside these words. I
drew Tiananmen Square very magnificently and spectacularly, with pretty
butterflies flying around it from time to time. After finishing the drawing,
I thought of adding some more content. What should I write? I scratched my
head, thinking hard. My mother saw me and asked why I was doing this. Then I
told her everything about the report. My mother said, "This is a report
about the National Day, so you should write some information about it.
That's what makes the report meaningful." I nodded repeatedly after hearing
that and thought my mother was really smart.
So, I searched for information online about the origin of the National
Emblem, the National Flag, and some patriotic idioms, ancient poems, and
famous quotes. After two hours, the report was finally complete. But I felt
something was still missing, so I randomly drew a little girl on the report.
This little girl was vivid and lifelike, very cute.
After another half an hour, my report was finally done. Looking at the
exquisite layout and the combination of pictures and words, I was extremely
happy and thought it must be rated as an excellent report.
During the process of making this report, I learned a lesson: as long as you
work hard and diligently on anything, you will definitely succeed. |
