My Chinese Teacher |
|
With thick eyebrows, bright eyes, a tall nose, and an admirable way of speaking,
she has a beautiful face. She is my teacher and her last name is Zhou, so we
call her Teacher Zhou.
Teacher Zhou's teaching method is unique. While other teachers ask us questions,
she has us ask her questions. For each question we ask, she gives us a related
example, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding.
Teacher Zhou is very meticulous in grading our assignments. She writes comments
after each assignment, letting us know what we did well and what needs
improvement. She always summarizes our work, telling us where to improve. I
really appreciate this about Teacher Zhou.
Teacher Zhou is kind to her students. She treats every student with the same
attitude, regardless of their grades. For students who don't perform well,
Teacher Zhou patiently guides them, and for those who do, she greets them with a
smile. Therefore, the atmosphere in our Chinese class is always good.
Teacher Zhou is very concerned about our reading progress. We have two reading
classes per week, during which we bring our reading and excerpt books to the
reading room and write down good paragraphs, sentences, or phrases. When it's
time for reading class, Teacher Zhou will go to the reading room and check on
our progress. She encourages us to read more beneficial books and take down good
words while reading.
The only flaw of Teacher Zhou is that she sometimes speaks too fast in class. If
she could slow down her speech and explain the difficult words or sentences more
clearly, it would be better for us.
That's my Chinese teacher - experienced, unique in teaching style, and kind to
her students. |
