The Sweet Taste of Happiness

Happiness is like a mischievous shadow hiding in the crevices of our daily lives, often perceived as elusive by people. In fact, if we open the door of our hearts and use our senses, we can hear the melody of happiness in every move and gesture, and savor its sweet taste.

The evening sun sneaks into the room, casting a slanted glow, and the familiar aroma of home-cooked food drifts in with the half-open door. I push it open, exhausted, and shout, as usual, "I'm back!" The warmth of my family fills the room. My mother moves busily between the kitchen and the dining room, smiling, surveying the table set with carefully prepared dishes that my father and I love. How wonderful it is to feel the love of my family and savor the taste of happiness.

At home, I rely on my parents, but when I'm out, I depend on my friends. Being with my best friends and reminiscing about the past is also a source of happiness for me. Memories of my first year in junior high school come flooding back to me. Adults say that junior high school is a turning point in life, and my heart was laden with countless worries and a hint of rebellion. I could see their concerns in their eyes. But with the love of my family and the care of my friends, I had an unwavering faith. With them, I enjoyed the noisy breaks between classes and the leisurely strolls on the playground after exams. This taste of happiness stems from mutual understanding and encouragement among friends.

As time passes, many glimpses of happiness will be left behind. Everyone has their own 21 moments of happiness. For me, every detail of life is a source of happiness. This sweet taste of happiness is nurtured in every dawn, permeates every bit of the air, and melts in my heart.

Happiness has no flavor of its own, but with love, it becomes the most beautiful taste in the world.
