Meet My Eccentric and Competitive Friend Mingming |
|

Let me introduce you to my good friend Mingming. He's a bit of an oddball with a
bad temper, but he's also a gaming expert and quite skilled at basketball.
Despite his stern demeanor, he has a heart of gold and is always willing to lend
a helping hand.
Mingming has a personality that sometimes makes you want to slap him silly, but
other times he's like a brother to you and it's all good fun. We've been friends
for a long time, like diamonds that never lose their luster. Since elementary
school, we've been messing around together, playing games and sports without a
care in the world, ignoring the well-meaning advice of our parents about the
dangers of playing in the streets.
One of his flaws is that he plays basketball too aggressively and his
unreasonable temper can be irritating. During one basketball game, he was about
to score, but I snatched the ball away from him and scored instead. He was so
angry that he dragged me into a dark alley to talk it out.
But on the other hand, he can be gracious in defeat when we play games together.
If I beat him, he'll pretend to be an elder and say, "Young man, you still have
much to learn." Then he'll be ready for a rematch, driven by his competitive
nature.
Mingming excels in mathematics and is the class representative for math, which
is like being a fourth-ranking official. He often boasts about his position, but
he also contributes a lot to the boys in our class. He's the only male student
among the six class representatives, and his presence stands out.
This is my friend Mingming - the one who sometimes deserves a good beating, but
also has a warm heart and an indomitable spirit. |
