Change of Account Number

We are pleased to inform that effective 1st August 2004, Hong Leong Finance Berhad's ( HLF) business will be merged with Hong Leong Bank Berhad ( HLB) ( except for the Leasing business which will be transferred to Hong Leong Leasing Sdn Bhd), pursuant to a Vesting Order granted by the High Court. Henceforth, HLF's accounts ( except for Leasing ) will be operated under HLB. Loans which are pegged against HLF's Base Lending Rate ( BLR ) will be pegged against HLB's BLR which is currently at 6.0% p.a.

Following the merger, HLB and HLF's systems will be integrated and effective 9th August 2004, your existing HLF Account Number(s) will be duly changed as detailed below. Kindly use the New Account number(s) for your future transactions with Hong Leong Bank Berhad effective 9th August 2004. All loan payments via cheques should be made payable to Hong Leong Bank Berhad.
