The Plastic Brigade of Autistics Sabak Bernam: The
Autism school of Sabak Bernam formed a team of environmental
activists made up of autistic children. Over the month of February,
the team of 24 students totally removed all the plastic debris that
was strewn along the roads and lanes of the town. The remarkable
sight of these lovable children picking up all the discarded plastic
bags and bottles saw others, too, join in the effort. Today, thanks
to The Plastic Brigade of Autistics, anybody who randomly drops a
plastic bag or bottle anywhere in Sabak Bernam is scolded into
retrieving it and disposing of it properly in a rubbish bin. |
